Sharvari Recalls Working As AD With Sanjay Leela Bhansali In Bajirao Mastani: ‘Manifesting Being His Heroine’

Sharvari is all set for her next horror comedy Munjya release. The latest song has been grabbing everyone’s attention. But did you know that the actress once worked as an Assistant Director with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Bajirao Mastani? Yes, you are reading right. Recently, in a conversation with The Indian Express, Sharvari opened up about her experience and also mentioned that she is manifesting to become his heroine one day.
Sharvari said, “It is nothing short of a dream to be on Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir’s sets. Every single day that I walked on that set as an assistant director and then sat in my car, I would say, One day I am going to walk here as an actor.’ I am manifesting being a Sanjay Leela Bhansali heroine, want to do those big songs and be a part of that grandeur, get my craft into place. The way he moulds his actors, I just want to be that."

She further said, “When we were shooting for Bajirao Mastani, there used to be shots with 100 juniors, everyone wearing phetas and pagdis in a line. It was our job to see that everything is perfect, because sir was overlooking the major work. We would miss it sometimes, but he would stop that frame and be like, ‘That person, on the right, his pagdi is tilted.’ He has a beautiful craft, there are no words to describe him."
On the work front, Sharvari Wagh has a couple of projects in her pipeline. She will next be seen in director Aditya Sarpotdar’s Munjya. The horror comedy also starring Abhay Verma and Mona Singh will be released on June 7. Besides that, Sharvari has been roped in for Vedaa, an action-thriller helmed by Nikkhil Advani. She will be co-starring opposite John Abraham in the film slated to hit the silver screens on July 12.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently made his OTT debut with Heeramandi. The multi-starrer web series received mixed reviews from the audience.
